SUSANNE RÜTZOU

Susanne Rützou is a Danish designer and ceramic artist who experiments with stoneware, exploring its inherent properties in her studio in Copenhagen. Drawing inspiration from nature, her works are both functional and organically sculptural. Her artistic approach blends traditional craftmanship with a modern aesthetic, resulting in truly unique creations. Featuring a variety of forms, glazes, and surface textures, her ceramic pieces engage the senses and invite interaction.

For Ark Kollekt 09, Susanne Rützou presents a set of ceramic pieces comprising of seven oval serving platters and deep plates in various sizes. Each piece features an earthy glaze with a rustic, textured finish, and a range of colors.
