MILENA KLING

With an experimental and transformative approach to glasswork, Berlin-based Milena Kling has developed an artistic style that is all her own. Kling uses copper filigree moulds and pleated copper sheets in her work with mouth-blown glass, resulting in unique pieces that “explore timeless tactility and rawness in glass.”

The word “alchemist” has been used consistently to describe Kling’s creation process, and the word is apt; she works with artisans in small, local factories to uncover treasures within organic material.

These are the kind of items that bring joy for a lifetime, making them ideal for special table settings, used at times when you want to express love for those in your life through the art of hosting and gathering.

Kling’s Sea Glass bowls and plates, which are given the look of sea glass by using fine sand to create a smooth, matte finish, offer an organic and poetic element to any tablescape.

For Ark Kollekt 03, she presents Sea Glass Plates, made of mouth-blown glass.
