MERETE LINDGREEN

Merete Lindgreen is a Danish sculptor and visual artist, and the founder of Lindgreen Atelier, based in Copenhagen.

Sculpture functions as a material, tangible medium for Lindgreen’s musings on the dualities of the human condition. Intricate, coiling forms invite multi-dimensional experiences for the viewer, their tactility central to the contemplations they evoke. Working across matte and high-gloss glazes, Lindgreen offers a subverted tension between what is hidden and what is exposed through her surface textures.
