Swedish interior designer Lotta Agaton founded her Stockholm-based Lotta Agaton Studios in 2004. Since then, her distinctive, multi-disciplinary style has become one of the progenitors of the contemporary Scandinavian soft minimalist aesthetic. Agaton is the co-founder of Residence Magazine, cementing her as an influential force in the world of interior design and a master of visual communication.
For Ark Kollekt 03, Agaton has curated a selection that brings together tableware and her own approach to styling. This partnership is ideal for the holiday season, showing us that a holiday table can reflect our personal stylistic expression in a way that feels authentic to both the time of year and ourselves.
“My curation is divided in two parts: one is a mix of minimalist and graphic objects in natural materials such as ceramic, stone, and wood. This style and these kind of objects are my base in everything I do. Then I like to mix that neutral base with bold and unique objects that brings personality and contrast; that is my second part of my selections for Ark Kollekt,” explains Lotta.
There are items in this Ark Kollekt 03 that will surprise and delight; the tactility and playful proportionality draws the eye across the table in a visual feast.
