ANAÏS VINDEL

Anaïs Vindel reinterprets imagined scenes inspired by her observation of the natural world and by a spiritual universe. She translates these visions into paintings that become true visual narratives, inhabited by otherworldly flowers and transformed landscapes, extending the life of moments captured both mentally and emotionally.

Her practice is rooted in a sensitive and poetic relationship with the living world. Inspired by nature, its cycles, and its continual transformations, Anaïs explores memory, perception, and the invisible. Through material, colour, and light, she seeks to express the ever-changing, spiritual, and intangible qualities that nature reveals.

Her work unfolds within a dreamlike realm where nature reclaims its place, transforms itself, and takes on human qualities, blurring the boundaries between the living, the organic, and the imaginary.

Through these hybrid forms, she offers a cosmic and enchanted reinterpretation of Mother Nature—both ancestral and futuristic—where textures, patterns, and bodies engage in dialogue within a universe of visual poetry that is deeply evocative, sensitive, and metamorphic.

Ark Kollekt presents Divine, layers of ink on stretched cotton canvas with aluminium framing, by Vindel for Collection #21, as seen in the third edition of DESIGN / DIALOGUE.
