SIDSEL HOLSTEEN

Sidsel Holsteen (b. 1995) graduated from The Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, Design and Conservation (2019–2023). Sidsel works at the intersection of design and sculpture. In her ceramic practice, she wishes to honor tradition and fine craftsmanship, throwing, model and casting functional objects. At the same time, she is driven by a desire to challenge ceramic tradition by creating objects that play with and challenge functions.
