OLE HEROLD

Debuting at the Artists’ Easter Exhibition in 1981, Danish artist and sculptor Ole Mynster Herold is celebrated for his round, organic granite sculptures. Each work is unique, meticulously handcrafted from stones gathered from the seabed by local fishermen. The sculptures reveal Herold’s ability to transform raw, natural materials into timeless, tactile forms that invite contemplation.

Herold has participated in myriad exhibitions both in Denmark and abroad; for Collection 16, Ark Kollekt presents three organic granite sculptures: Formia, Blackia, and Gritt.
