ANNA SØGAARD

Anna Søgaard is a Copenhagen-based product and furniture designer. In her work as a designer, her primary focus is on wooden objects, and is fascinated by simple functions such as storage. She earned her BA and MA in Furniture and Object Design from Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, Design, Conservation in 2021. Her studio and workshop is located in a creative area in Copenhagens Amager’s district.

For Collection 14, Ark Kollekt presents a series of stackable boxes by Søgaard, exploring mathematical variations: Work with Six Units in oak and Work with Four Units in pine. Each piece is handcrafted, with the natural dimensions of the wood guiding the framework and system behind the design.
