Upon returning to France after the war in March 1946, Perriand resumed her collaboration with Pierre Jeanneret and Georges Blanchon. Together, they worked on advancing the development of B.C.C. (Bureau Central de Construction), based in Grenoble, a project they had initiated in 1939 before her departure for Japan.
By the end of 1946, B.C.C. began producing the first Jeanneret-Perriand edition of wooden furniture manufactured by Équipement de la Maison. This edition was to be used in numerous projects by Charlotte Perriand in the French Alps. One of these projects was Hotel Le Doron in Meribel, where she utilized the revised 'N° 27' chair she had designed in Japan.
In September 1949, Georges Blanchon resigned from B.C.C. with the intention of establishing his own company. Three months later, Herman Muller, the director of Équipement de la Maison, was informed that as of January 1950, he would no longer have the exclusive rights to manufacture the series.
