For Collection #20, Ark Kollekt presents three hand-carved wooden spoons by Marie Eklund, crafted from wood local to her rural home of Tångeråsa. 

Working with only an axe and carving knife, Eklund’s works are an ode to precision born only from intuition and surrender to the natural material’s treatment.  

Each spoon is made from Swedish birch, then burned and treated with linseed oil.
