Fall meditations (Stack of four/first) 2022

Ark Kollekt presents two large-scale mixed media works on canvas by Camilla Reyman. 

‘Fall meditations (Stack of four/first), 2022’ depict Reyman’s ongoing motif of angular, precise geometric forms with the precarious nature of organic pigment. Reyman considers and honours the natural material throughout her body of work, imagining a destabilised hierarchy between artist and their art. 

Reyman’s large-scale works, imbued with notions of ancient animism, exist as entities in the spaces they inhabit, inviting the viewer to consider the depth of the relationship between ecology and spirituality.
