Ark Kollekt presents a custom concrete sculpture, ‘Desert Oud 6’, by Henrik Glahn for Collection #20. Continuing his meditation on the metaphysical, Glahn undermines a conventional distinction between figure and form, leading with abstract expression as a mode of intuiting the human experience. 

Glahn’s sculptural work invites the viewer to consider an inner world, encouraging an understanding to emerge through visual language alone. His sustained use of concrete harnesses a raw, unrefined texture that echoes the need to imbue ‘imperfection’ throughout his works.
