For design/delight Shanghai, Ark Kollekt presents a handcrafted watercolour-on-paper folding screen by Ylva Carlgren.

Within Limits serves as one of Carlgren’s many meditations on the in-between; fleeting moments where abundance may swell from emptiness. Her technique of removing dark watercolour paint from the canvas, layer by layer, equally evokes the ambiguity of negative space and clarity of a mirror, imbuing a deep sense of humanism. Mounted onto a Goulding folding-screen, Carlgren’s work acts as a portal to surrender, a framing of inner expansion.
