For Ark Kollekt, Katrine Blinkenberg presents a series of hand-built plates inspired by the theme of ‘trace’.  

Each piece is shaped from stoneware clay and glazed with natural materials such as lava, seashells, and black sand from Greenland. Through her intuitive process, which she refers to as ‘automatic creation’, no two outcomes are alike. These are objects to live with, display, and return to. 

The plates are currently on view as part of the Ark Kollekt exhibition at St. Leo, curated by Pernille Vest. Hosted in St. Leo’s Copenhagen showroom – a space that honors material sensitivity and timeless design – the exhibition brings together sculptural works in wood, clay, glass, and metal.
