Ark Kollekt presents four works from Dori Deng’s ongoing Expansion Series (2020-present) for design/delight Shanghai, an investigation into shifting cultural tectonics through the medium of projected light.

Deng works primarily with LED lights, steel structures and rocks, mediating interactions between the engineered and natural. Specialising in lightwork liberates Deng from any scale limitations, whose creative process is informed by invoking our awareness of the self in industrial spaces.
