For Collection 16, Ark Kollekt presents three small-scale organic granite sculptures by Ole Herold: Formia, Blackia, and Gritte.

Each work is unique, meticulously handcrafted from stones gathered from the seabed by Danish fishermen. The sculptures reveal Herold’s ability to transform raw, natural materials into timeless, tactile forms that invite contemplation. The sculptures, dense and asymmetrical in form, are juxtaposed by their very own subtly moving surface textures, acknowledging nature’s various harmonies born from contradictions.
