Offering I is a sculptural piece that combines stoneware with a cream semi-gloss glaze and a bronze set. The rectangular ceramic base has a smooth yet subtly textured surface, its soft, neutral tone lending a quiet elegance to the composition. Resting atop it is a small, organic bronze form, irregular in shape with a dark patina that contrasts beautifully against the ceramic’s muted glaze.
The interplay between materials—earthy stoneware and time-worn metal—creates a sense of balance and stillness, evoking themes of offering, preservation, and transformation. For Collection 11, Ark Kollekt presents two stunning sculptures by Naomi Bikis.
