Rooted in reverence for ancestral knowledge, Memòri explores textile traditions such as natural vegetable dyeing, handweaving, and handspinning — techniques passed down through generations of female master weavers in Morocco’s Anti-Atlas mountains.

Inspired by the rhythm of the weavers’ village, nestled among rocks and silence, the lampshades are handspun and woven by artisans. Stones and reeds are collected from the surrounding landscape and assembled in Memòri’s studio in Marseille, bringing together raw terrain and quiet craft.

For collection 14, Ark Kollekt presents two lamps made by Memòri Studio: Azru Floor Lamp and Hjra table lamp.
