For collection 09, Ark Kollekt presents an egg cup handmade by Danish ceramicist Trine Bach in her workshop in Gl. Egå, Denmark.
Inspired by the elements of nature, her work results in unconventional, organic forms that are both functional and sculptural.
´The Duckling´ is wheel-thrown from porcelain clay and shaped to cradle an egg. When both the egg and spoon are placed in the cup, the piece resembles a little duckling.
The fine porcelain has a translucence that creates captivating transitions between light and shadow.
